I've encountered an odd message when playing one of my iTunes-purchased music (.m4a format):
a few tracks of one album (oddly enough, not all of them have this same problem) only play a certain amount of time and then the player presents this message:
"Maximum number of bitstream elements exceeded"
I click the Ok and then the player go on to the next track, but I would rather listen to the full song instead, if possible...
I've looked in the settings, trying to figure this out (how to solve it), but so far I haven't got a clue...
Does anyone else have this problem or know what's that about or how to solve it?
PS: I'm using
Windows XP 64bit SP3 with all current patches in place,
1by1 v.1.76b20110813,
in_mp4.dll v.2.1beta |

I think its a problem of the in_mp4.dll.
Please try using the BASS DLL instead of Winamp plugins.
It decodes many formats and netstreams and runs very smart.

http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html | Many, many thanks for your reply, Martin. BASS.DLL did indeed correct that playback message problem, as you predicted.
Sorry for the delay in responding here, it's the "holidays rush", too many things happening all at once. May I thank you once again for your unbelievable piece of software and wish you (and everyone else) an incredible 2012!
PS: Altough it took me no more than a little while to figure out that bass.dll alone wouldn't play .m4a files (I needed the AAC add-on) I still haven't figured out how to correctly use this new way of playing these files with the bass DLL add-on while still having access to the correct BITRATE and TAG information, like I used to have with in_mp4.dll - display of the correct bitrate on the "extra info column" and the tag information available on the context menu. I tried to make the "tags.dll" add-on available, but it had no effect... |

Although it corrected the problems I had with some specific albums and the older winamp plugin in_m4.dll, now some other .m4a files are Crashing 1by1.exe with BASS.DLL...
Well... I'm assuming it's the bass.dll, but I might be wrong, of course...
Edit: I decided to test the same .m4a file with in_m4.dll, just in case, and, in fact, it does not crash 1by1. I plays quite normally, so, at least temporarily, I'm back with in_m4.dll and out with bass_aac.dll... |
